anyone know the gap setting for the points on the volvo 225e 1986

From Seloc: 0.016" new and

From Seloc: 0.016" new and 0.019" used. The dwell angle is 31º.

"Questions like this one make me very happy to have installed an electronic ignition module. Truth is, I never really took the time to get a handle on "dwell" and "gap". Now I don't have to...ah, at least not for this engine

and my Malibu 'yacht' is only 18.5 feet

. I can damn near 'plane' with the Yammy.

I guess electronic 'points' can fail, anything can, but..not as often as the 'old' style I'll bet. Tom"
