"Is this just a normal relay that can be replaced with a universal style or we stuck buying/over paying through VP? Also, what sort of Amperage capacity does it require?

"I'm not sure the capacity of this relay, but last summer I made my own wiring harness and matched relays readily available at NAPA for a 1/3 the price of VP ones. Most relays will be marked with voltage and amperage duty. You may have to splice the harness differently to ensure proper function. Reading relay line diagrams isn't too difficult."

Unfortunately the relay has a bit of corrosion and I can't read anything on it. Does anyone know what the rating is?
