Pistons

I purchased four OMC 385282 pistons. The one on the left has a recessed area where the wrist pin goes through. Why does one have this and the others don't? Does it make a difference? Thanks

That is to make it easier to dig out the type of circlip that doesn't have the little "handle" on it. Othewise, makes no difference at all.
