Penta V6-280 DTC 1155 and 1157

Hi forum members,

We purchased a 2017 Regal 2000 with a Volvo Penta V6-280-J in the fall. When we test drove it prior to purchase for about an hour there were no issues. The dealership winterized it after we purchased it and it went into storage for the winter. When we launched it for the first time about two weeks ago it started beeping one short beep about every minute. This weekend I hooked up Rinda Diacom to it and it's showing two stored DTCs and one active DTC. The stored DTCs are 1155 and 1157 with the active being 1155. It had less than a quarter tank of fuel when it came out of storage. We filled it up with premium marine fuel and the first alarm happened just before filling it with fuel when we launched it.

It looks like 1155 and 1157 are both related to a lean fuel condition. Is it likely that it's related to an O2 sensor or is there another condition likely that's causing the O2 sensor to report the excess lean condition? I've read other people have had the issue and resolved it by replacing the spark plugs. The engine has about 117hrs and is probably on the original plugs.

Wonder if maybe while wintering the engine they sprayed a fogger inhibitor and it’s affecting the O2 sensor that or the fuel treatment mix giving odd readings.

Probably could try removing and inspecting or cleaning the sensors to see if it helps any.
 
I don't see any active codes in the attached data...and on the previous codes, the fuel pressure looks a bit high, assuming it is accurate...
 
I took the screenshots before the DTC became active again during that key cycle. I then cleared the codes and the one DTC 1155 came back but I didn’t take any screenshots.
 
they disconnected the negative battery terminal for winter storage. I wonder if when I reconnected it if the connection is not great. It’s in a bit of an awkward spot to get to the battery. I will try cleaning the terminals and reconnecting tomorrow to see if the DTC condition goes away. I am looking for something system wide because the same condition is alarming on both sides (bank 1 and bank 2). To me that makes it unlikely to be a sensor or the wiring or an exhaust leak for it to be on both sides. More likely to be fuel, fuel pressure or a grounding issue. Thoughts?

That’s a definite possibility. I will try that if the battery terminal isn’t the culprit.
 
For the stored codes, given the parameter list, I'd say both codes triggered at the same point in time.

I'm not definite on how volvo does it, but in the auto world, short term fuel trim is adjusted continuously and on every key cycle...so I'd say you are looking at a transient lean conditon...because the trim goes too high. This idea is reinforced with the MAP value and the RPM shown...IF the code stays present for the entire engine cycle, after the engine has warmed enough to set the code, then the fault wouldn't be trasient but continuous...ie a traditional "vacuum leak"...
