Had some recent work done on the unit to repair the tilt lock mechanism. Now the boat is in the lake and when I attempt to raise the leg I can hear the motor run but it does not move. I can also not manually lift it from outside.
Is there something I can easily disconnect to raise the leg and take it out of the lake?

sounds like the release rod &#

sounds like the release rod (on port side below tilt ram) is not adjusted right. you can manually release the tilt lock by moving it downward. you will need someone aboard to work the tilt button.

Over 7 grand in repairs and it still a bitch.
Bought a new one the other day and this one will be parted out on ebay most likely.
