Hi Guys,

Could someone please tell me the replacement assembly part number for
39670A28. This is the old 4.3 shift interrupter switch. And how involved is installing the new assembly. Found a lot of used switches on the net. Really don't feel good installing used electrical items.The arm broke on my existing switch.Thanks for any help given.

When looking up that part number it comes up as no longer available and it references you back to Mercruiser service bulletin number 02-01.

Judging by the part number you posted, It looks like you will need to order the compleat shift plate assembly, Part number 864363A1.

I would recommend that you try to go to a mercruiser dealer and ask them to print you out a copy of service bulletin number SMC-02-01 - SHIFT INTERRUPT SWITCH AVAILABILITY.;)
