Part Number Help 2004 4 hp 4 stoke

I have a 2004 Mercury 4 HP, 4 stroke that I would like to replace the Mercury 4 HP carburetor with a 6 HP Tohatsu carb. The serial number of the motor is OR041107. The number stamped in the carb is 3R7CRJ9. Does anyone know for sure which Tohatsu carb I should order? Thanks

You could buy the Merc 6 hp part, but the less-expensive carb for the Tohatsu 6A2 is 3R4032001M CARBURETOR ASSY, MFS/NSF6A2 $110.97, available from any dealer, including me.
 
I completely under stand but allot of effort and work go into providing this "free" forum for all users that is possible only because on the main sales page. Its also the business we are in selling parts. :)
 
Not a problem; Become a Tohatsu dealer, and save your customers a half a hundred here and there. Plus you could offer the Factory service manuals in addition to the (ahem) Seloc products :)
 
We are actually working on getting those parts and as far as the manual go the source is not timely or reliable so we opt to not offer them 2 to 4 weeks lead times is often way to long. :(
