Paragon Transmission question

I currently have a Paragon P21

I currently have a Paragon P21L transmission in my 25' CC Express Cruiser. I have an opportunity to pick up a Paragon P31L for short change. I figured I'd pick it up as a spare. Since parts are not easy to come by. I'm not sure that they are interchangeable. Any one know if it will work without major changes?

"My transmission buddy says both take the same rebuild kit so there is a fair amount of commonality.

A quick check on EBI's website indicates he is correct.

if it is cheap, i'd welcome it to a new home."
