Painting 1992 Johnson 150 (tips, suggestions, input?)

I am planning on restoring my motor and was wondering if any has any tips such as what kind of paint, how much, what to prep, and where to get decals. I have found the Moeller brand paint that matches the factory specs... just looking for any experienced tips before I go and try this.

I bought my decals on eBay and be sure to use a primer for aluminum, I used zinc chromate (yellow) and there is also a green primer that's zinc something....I can't remember now. The zinc chromate can be purchased on eBay as well but the other zinc primer can be bought just about anywhere that sales paint. good luck.
