Have anyone replace an SX150txr ox66 water pump impeller? I've replace many water pump until this one. Looking at it I am guessing there is a ring/collar that compressed onto the drive shaft to hold the water pump down. The question I have is how do you remove this ring/collar? From the look, there is no easy tool that will remove this ring/collar. I would think the easiest way is to cut it off and buy a new ring/collar and spacer and replace them both. Have any replace one of these OX66 water pump? Why would they change the design? Any info would greatly appreciated.
