"How long did you run the boat

"How long did you run the boat with the raw water pump hoses reversed? Try replacing the thermostat, it's cheap and easy. I would take a close look at the exhaust hoses that connect the riser to the y-pipe. They may have melted and restricted water flow from the riser. Next I would pull the exhaust bellows and inspect it. If it has a flapper inside the flapper may have melted as well, restricting water flow.

I am assuming your exhaust manifolds and risers are in good shape? If they are over three years old I would pull the risers and inspect them."

not to long aprox 10 min I hav

not to long aprox 10 min I have try termostat 2 times even boiled one opened at 160 with the termostat out the problem is gone I was told that my boat doesn't have exaust flappers. I will inspect my risers. thankx Ron

"Running dry ten minutes is en

"Running dry ten minutes is enough to melt the riser hoses. If you have a bear of a time pulling them off, chances are they will be gonzo. Let us know."

"Hey how is everyone pulled my

"Hey how is everyone pulled my risers off the that bad hoses came off easy couldnt see any meltage very little rust so I explored more pulled manifolds off looked ok so in futher I went I pulled the heads sent to machine shop the were badly warped so they say ,, stil have to re install does any one know were to find torque and sequence spec if so that woul be great thanks"

You may want to get the Seloc

You may want to get the Seloc manual for your engine if you are going to do your own maintenance and repairs.

The torque is 25-45-65 ftxlbs (3 steps).
