i have a 1990 25 hp evinrude.starts great, runs pretty good.after i run it hard(wide open) for about 15-20 minutes and shut it off and let it hot soak for about 5-10 min and i restart it, the overheat warning whistle come on.if i let it idle it will quit after a few moments.it has a new water pump and is peeing very well.
