Overheated engine now not running help!

My 50 hp vro overheated alarm sounded so left to cool, towed back in to harbour with other rib, turns over , spark , compression, fuel but will not fire any ideas please?

Using a compression tester what are the actual numbers you get.----------Did the motor come to a sudden stop?------Have you checked the flywheel key ?
