"I have a 2001 350 cu in 5.7GXI-C- Dp fresh water cooled motor. I have gone thru two sets of risers and one set of manifolds (Barrs). At the back side of the riser is a port for an over temp sensor (2) I was thinking of installing a T and add a water temp sensor to each side so I can monitor the water temp on the risers. My though is, I could monitor the exhaust water temp and when I noticed an increase in temp it would be time to check the risers. Will it work or am I wasting my time and money?
