"I have a 03 Suzuki df140 which is giving overheat/over rev alarm and shut down at 5800rpms.
Impela replaced nspected to be good, thermostat replaced,upper sensor replaced. It only happens when the engine is trimmed up and running 5800 rpms. Gauge does not indicate over rev. I can turn the engine off and immediately restart and run without any problem until I run at 5800 rpms. Had motor for 5years and not doing anything different. Any thoughts? Thanks"

when it throttles back the wat

when it throttles back the water is not too hot to touch and cools very quickly. I will have the mechanic test drive with me. I understand that there is an electronic Management control (emc) in these engines. Have you heard of one misfunctionig?
