Last time I went out the motor sounded like it was over revving too high for the speed, any idea what to look at

Test with a new prop ?

Is there a way to test the prop that's on there now because those are kinda spendy if that's not what it is

Mark the prop and hub.----Test run.----See if marks have moved.-----I do not believe a prop is a " spendy " item.

Thanks I'll try that, and so if it has then it would be a bad prop correct ?

I bought a new prop and also put a seal kit in and when putting back together I pulled up the shift shaft somehow so pulled apart and fixed that but now it goes directly from reverse to forward and no neutral I have tried a different angles on the cam and one time only had reverse and the other was worse,any ideas
