over heating problem

My neighbors got a yamaha 75 hp 2 stroke outboard, and it keeps overheating. He has changed the water pump, and its pissin like normal. Anyone know what could be wrong? Ive never seen one piss and overheat.

What's the year of the motor? Has he looked at the thermostat? There's also a pressure relief valve that might be stuck open, dumping all the cooling water out before it fills the powerhead jackets. Is it overheating at idle, or just higher rpms ?

If he just did impeller I bet he needs to do housing also
