Can you take the pisser out an

Can you take the pisser out and hook the hose up to that model to backwash the water system?

I would take it back on the wa

I would take it back on the water before ripping it apart......it might just be lower pressure coming from hose.

"ive always used the same hose

"ive always used the same hose same pressure,i took it all apart, will replace whole water pump, the only thing i found was sand in tstats and housing, flushed everything,il put it all back together this wknd,i dont understand it i run it all last wknd broght it home wash boat, flushed motor with fresh water, put new tach on fired ir up on muffs idle 5 min. later running hot i shut it down,so thats all i got, thanx"

You seems to 'walk about&#

You seems to 'walk about' not quite knowing what is happening.
There are 2 temp switches -does both react or just one?
Invest in a heat-gun and do a more exact analysis of the problem.Where is the 'hot spot'? Might be cheaper than just buying and adding parts on random.
Get a bucket and skip the muffs until You have solved the problem.

"I've had sand clogged so

"I've had sand clogged so bad it was packed in the pisser, no water was coming out, and I had to jam my finger in it a few times to break it up enough to get the hose connected. It was also packed half way up the water pressure sender hose. There was so much sand that I couldn't go over 1500 RPM's. After I flushed it out, It ran fine, with little traces of sand in the tstats. I'm sure if you just had some sand in the motor the pump is fine. Maybe with that new pump, it isn't sucking water from the muffs as well as the old pump did."

"well horn went off both heads

"well horn went off both heads hot to touch, the pump worked fine till this past wknd,i cleaned the tstats, tested them, flushed the motor put new water pump in,and il put it back together this wknd,i havent had any problems till now,and ive always used the same muffs same hose same pessure,so if this dont fix im lost"
