"I saw an earlier thread ref

"I saw an earlier thread ref the 'up' button for the outdrive not working while the 'down' and 'trailering' were. I have a 2002 Bravo II and mine, too, is not working. Like an idiot, i stepped on the outdrive planing fin to get into the boat and after the winter found that it will not go up except by using the 'trailering' button. There is no sign of any movement of my tilt/trim sensors on the outdive, and getting to them takes a specialized phillips head screw driver to reset them. I have yet to check the current flow at the pump but I assume (I know ass-u-me) with my use of the outdrive as a step that that is the reason it's not working. Is there a way to loosen the sensor screws to readjust? I can provide pictures if I'm not clear enough.
Thanks"

If you think your wieght is gr

If you think your wieght is greater than the force of water at 40 - 50 mph .........think again!!!

It is simple Looking at the drive from the back of the boat....

the plastic unit on the LEFT is the trim limit switch. It opens and closes just like a light switch in your home. except it is round. The center of it turnes with the rotation of the drive.

If you loosen the Two screws you can turn it the amount of the slot in the plastic cap.

If turning it does not allow the trim to work normally then most likely it is the unit it self or the wires from the unit going to the trim pump area. Rarely is it the handle switch or the wires in the handle UNLESS someone had been in there playing around and did not reassemble it correctly.

so tell us more facts as to what has or has NOT been done. Also someone on here posted a diagram and maybe they can repost it.

"I grabbed that info when I saw it. I'm unable to access the screws...see below.
