outboard problem

i have a 1976 70hp johnson 2 stroke. when i shift i can drive at low speed and medium speed but it stalls when i try to go full speed. can anyone help?

The high speed part of the carbs are not 'working.
Time for a carb job. Remove all jets from housings when cleaning, use a carb cleaner in a spray can, makes it easier.

HI i have a 175 V6 2002 model johnson outboard . The trottle cable is very stiff and i would like to replace it . How do you remove the flush control from the panel it is mounted on

where is the carburator located????

Actually there are 3 seperate carburetors each feeding just one cylinder.-----------They should be easy to find , and if you can not find them then I don't know.
