I have just repowered my boat with a new Yamaha F115 (previously had a 2000 Yamaha F100).
I took it for a test today and there was water pouring over the outboard pod/bracket, into the well - I've never seen anything like it. There was also so much water coming up over the cowl. It was a glassy day, and I came back with the cowl absolutely covered in salt - I've never had that on even the roughest day.
The outboard can currently go down 1 spot or up 3 spots.
I am taking it back, but just thought I would try to arm myself with some info before hand. The dealership did do a water test and did say something in handover that gives the impression that they noticed this, but were trying to have me think it was normal.
I have attached a few short videos, any advice is welcome.
