Outboard Motor Winterization Question

I own a 20hp 4 stroke Mercury Outboard Motor. We sent it to get winterized and I'm worried it wasn't done correctly. There's nothing about them changing the gear oil and they put antifreeze in our lines which wasn't done last yr. We don't have an inboard fuel tank, it's just a little motor on a little fishing boat.
What do we do next yr to get the antifreeze out and what is the correct procedure that should have been followed to get the motor ready for winter. Bearing in mind I live in Northern Alberta where Temps drop into -30s.

A lot of good gear oil gets thrown out.-----Just make sure there is no water in the gearcase.----Outboards are self draining.----No need for antifreeze.----Learn this simple procedure and do it at home for next to no beer tokens wasted !

The major thing that is done for winterizing is fogging the engine with Storage seal to rust proof the internals - this can be done in your driveway with muffs providing water.

The service shop already put antifreeze in our motor. (I think they hired a pretend marine mechanic) I'm worried they've messed something up

Start the motor on a hose and flush out any antifreeze.----Then winterize it yourself.----Some shops run motors on antifreeze as a final step to be sure.----Most of that antifreeze runs / drains into the test tank !----I believe you misunderstood the shop and why they run with antifreeze.---Go and ask them where the antifreeze ( if any ) is in your motor.
