"Hello, My friend gave me an old Evinrude outboard. Its missing a cowl and it looks like a 5 to 10 hp.I see a tag that has model 1978(year?) It does have other #s and thats where you come in.Anyone have an Idea of how to determine the hp and year. Like I said its missing a cowl and recoil but its not locked up and im sure after a new plug and carb cleaning it will fire. Its been in his girlfreinds garage for years! Thanks!"
