Hi.
first i'd like to thank you for this great forum. Im from Norway so plz excuse my poor writing:p

i have had this 06 optimax 1.5 ltr fore 2 years and exept for minor problems it has been a good motor.
service last summer changed all sensors and most of the wiring.

problem:
i tok the boat out on the water 3 weeks ago and it runs fine. God idling and god acceleration.
at the end of the trip (30 min) i got 4 pip alarm indicates water in fuel. There was half tank 100 ltr( 26 gal) of petrol in tank all winter, not fresh fuel, so water in fuel was expected i guess.

i dident do anything then. It could wait untill the first fishing trip.

well. 2 days ago i was going on that fishing trip, and i started removing fuelfilter and removed all fuel from the system. I emtyed the water/fuel separator and started the engine. It idled as normal, so of we go ready for fishing. But after 3 min when i started to accelerate 4 pip alarm and the engine died on me. It would not start at all!!
got towed back home and started to bleed the system again. But no responce at all.

so i took out the fuelpump to clean it and to look for impurities, there was something in the first chamber but nothing in the chamber where the fuelpumps are. But ther was clearly water in there. White "foggy" fuel.
So i cleaned it all up and washed it with fresh fuel..
after this the motor started. A lot of smoke and rough idling and it clearly runs Only on 2 sylinders. It acts as theres a bad coil, but all 3 coils are fine. Spark is ok on all plugs
i suspect a clogged up injector but im not shure yet.

my plan is to use an external fueltank 12 ltr (3gal) mixed with injector cleaner.

am i on the right track? Is this the way to go?
Ohm is ok on all injectors.

Again plz excuse my poor writing:rolleyes:
