Operating w/o tilt stop pins

I am running my 60 HP 4 stroke outboard on a 16.5 feet rigid bottom inflatable boat. The boat is very light and always runs nose up. I tried rebalancing the load as well as using a hydro foil attached to the cavitation plate. Nothing helped. I started thinking about how to make the motor to tilt farther in than it does now. I noticed that my tilt stop pins are installed in the lowest tilt stop adjustment holes and allow the maximum tilt in (see the attached pic), however if I remove those pins it will give me 2-5 extra degrees of the tilt in and hopefully resolve my nose up problem.

I wonder whether the motor design allows it to be operated w/o those tilt stop pins. Does anyone tried it?

Thank you!

http://www.brigboats.com/contact.php this is a contact for the boat manufacturer...i would contact them with the problem...i see some potential problems such as the boat pulling to the right once you come up etc...do you have power trim on the motor is one question for example...

Yes, the motor is equipped with a power trim. I contacted the dealer who sold me the boat and he could not help me. Anyway there is not much that I can do about the boat. I've tried moving all the wait to the front - it didn't help. I still have an option to install some kind of trim pads, that is about all I can do. That is why I am thinking about any possible adjustments on the motor.

the dealer is not the manufacturer which is the site i put up which includes the phone number...the dealer sells a lot of different boats etc and dont know how to address your problem...his main interest is in selling you another boat...

from a lot of pictures i looked at on this boat the bow rides high enough that you need the center console with a fairly high seat to see over the bow while running...you do have that?

while running at your normal cruising speed will the boat trim out and run with no pull to the right?
