"place in neutral......connect fuel line,squeeze primer bulb till firm,adv throttle to start position,pull choke knob out...pull rope swiftly,...as soon as it fires reduce throttle setting,move choke knob in and out quickly till it warms up and runs on its own....ck for water discharge,open beer,put in forward,accelerate."

And after a short time the power will fall off and it will splutter to a stop!


You forgot to open the fuel tank vent!

One other thing that no one mentioned is the "Lean/Rich" knob; turn right Rich, turn left Lean? Should I only use this for Idling?"

i adjust mine 2 times a year when it changes from hot to cold and vise versa.........usually when i adjust mine it is after the eng is warmed up...and yes it only makes a difference at idle.
 
u have ur right/left lean rich

u have ur right/left lean rich...wrong....turning to right--lean...to left--enrichens it.
