OMC with a Ford 351Holley Carb has issuesHelp

"I'm very new to the board

"I'm very new to the board. Thanks to those that helped me with my outdrive. The new one is on and works great. I now have an issue with the Holley 600CFM 4bbl. It is "dumping" fuel from the venturi's on the two front mains. I can see what looks to be a steady "stream" of fuel going down her throat. I rebuilt the carb, new power valve, float needles, gaskets, accl pump, all the goodies. It's still doing the same thing. I've tried adjusting the idle mixture screws to no avail. Any ideas?"

Would you say it looks like the paint being sprayed from a paint can or is it just dribbling out? Will it run at idle?

"It looked like very large constant dribbles. I think I might have cured the problem. The power valve in the new rebuild kit was larger, the choke settings were way off, and I adjusted the floats to a little less than parallel of the bowl. Runs good now, just have to try her on the water. Thanks for the reply."
