I inherited a 22.5 ft fiber form cabin cruiser boat. Im trying to identify the motor year and actual make the ID tag on motor by starter gives this info. Model No. 990218 F Seral No. W 1881 . Can someone help me .
 
It would be 250 cubic inch, refered to as a Chevy 250 CID. CID means cubic inch displacement. It hasn't been made since 1980. The modern equivalent is the GM 4.3L V 6, but the in-line 6 is generally smoother and quieter.
