OMC prop thrust washer question

My friend gave me a 127084 thrust washer as an extra for my 1995 70hp Johnson. While servicing my lower unit, and pulling the prop to check for fishing line, I noticed my engine's thrust washer was 318841 and 1/8" thinner. ???
Is mine newer a design and does it matter ? Could either be used? His was an older Johnson 70hp.
Thanks, T

It appears you need the 127084 thrust hub.
But you really need the model number to look it up & be sure. Are you certain of the model year?
When installing the prop, the splined washer must engage the splines of the shaft but not protrude thru where they would hit the nut. Also, it is important to verify the prop doesn't rub on the gearcase when pushed in & rotated by hand.

Looks like 318841 was original part number & supercedes to 127084.
So, just be sure it engages as I wrote above.
And yes, "EO" (as in J70ttl"EO"r) is 1995

It appears that 127084 will work fine as long as it meets the criteria above.
Thank You for sorting that out for me. Appreciate that.
