omc drive noise

I have a 1991 cobra that has a bang after i get under way if forward. i replaced the shift cable , aligned the drive line,and adjusted everthing exactly to specs. it doesnt do it every time but it shudders the boat when it happens and then there is no problems till i stop and start again, any ideas where to go from here?

If your sure it is all adjusted correctly time to look at the dog.

how hard is that to get changed?

Did you make the adjustment INSIDE the drive?
