OMC/Bombardier Parts-casting numbers? 1981 75 hp

I'm working on a previously "rebuilt' 81 johnson 75. model# J75TLCND. The engine had poor compression on the bottom cyl when my cust brought it in. It also had 3 new rods installed, which have the casting number "328953" on them. These are not the original rods, but I am assuming that they were used to accomodate the wisecos used in the rebuild, as the Wisecos use a .75 inch wrist pin. On my reassembly, I torqued the rod bolts to spec (30'#s) and the last bolt on the last rod as I approached the torque spec, broke out the threaded boss on that rod, destroying that rod. I know I could use different rods, with different pistons, but the parts I have bought would not be returnable. As a result, I am trying to find someone with the knowlege to tell me the part number that corresponds with the casting number for this rod. Again casting # 328953, can anyone cross reference these numbers for me?
