Hi; Every one has helped so much thanks. I have one more question. I recently purchased a 1984 151 vp engine that was removed from new boat before it was sold.Since it has been sitting in shop since then any ideas about seals etc that should be changed before I install.

"Good question. I would definitely make sure that the raw water pump impeller vanes are still pliable. Also, would remove the spark plugs and make sure it turns freely. Other than that, nothing major from the back of my mind."
