"I recently aquired an old outboard motor with no serial numbers or manufacturer markings on it. I'm attaching 2 pictures. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

"Matt, looks like maybe you have an old Johnson. I would guess something in the 70's (without a better look at it).

The colours seem right. I will post 3 pics of a 73 Johnson 6 horse and you can compare to yours...

You can mix regular unleaded &

You can mix regular unleaded (87 octane) with Marine TCW3 2 cycle oil at 50:1...
 
looking at picture #2 there is

looking at picture #2 there is a casting plug (freeze plug) on top of the block. that number is a serial number. that will tell you what you have.
