Hello everyone,
I've got an old 70 Merc 800, that I want to replaced the old plug wires on. I got the Sierra plug wire kit for this motor.
Now my problem is the terminal ends that screw into the cap. HOW do I crimp these things to the new wires? It's driving me crazy. The brass is too brittle and snaps if I crimp to far, but when it doesn't break, they don't hold the wire tight enough and slip back out.
Can I just buy premade ones? Probably not.
If not, has anyone made their own replacement wires, and what crimper did you use, or just special trick?
