"was just rebuilt , all new gaskets and seals, pistons, rings.after running it for about 5 to 10 mins it stalls,it will restart with difficulty but again then stalls out again after a shorter time, maybe 3 to 6 mins and again after stalling starts but only runs 2 to 4 mins and so on , any ideas?

"Assuming the points, condense

"Assuming the points, condensers, and coils are as they should be and you do have proper spark, the fuel filter that the shut off knob attaches to may be clogged. Remove and inspect it.

But first... You can give a general check simply by removing the fuel line, then opening the valve. Fuel should flow out as if the filter wasn't even there.

Spark... With thr spark plugs removed, the spark should jump a 1/4" gap with a strong blue lightning like flame.... a real SNAP!"
 
"Make sure the vent in the cap

"Make sure the vent in the cap is open and not clogged.

If it is stalling due to flooding, make sure the float isn't fuel logged and that the float valve and seat are in good condition.

As Joe mentions, the coils must be in top condition -- if you haven't inspected the coils through the flywheel inspection port, do so now -- cracked coils start acting up as the engine warms."

HEY RON LET ME KNOW HOW THE CRACKED COILS GO WHEN YOU FIX THEM I HAVE THE SAME MOTOR AND MINE SEEMS TO BE DOING THE SAME THING IF THAT WORKS FOR YOURS EMAIL ME BACK
