I have an 8hp mariner old 80's model that ran perfect all day today but when I was travelling at idel speed for a while it stalled and would not fire. I got it running and returned to boat ramp. Tried to run it in tub when got home it took a while to strat which is unuaual as it starts first pull normally and would run then stall. I have checked filter and just removed carbie both seem fine. What could this be any ideas apreciated. The fuel was not stale and mixed correctly as mentiuoned it ran for over two hours at full speed without a problem.
