can i use 100:1 two stroke oil on a 9 1/2 hp motor RPM ranging from 4500 to 5000 an if so how many ounces per gallon?
also what type of oil does the motor need

i dont know much just got the boat. just asking whats the difference between 100:1 to 50:1
also just wondering can it be taken out to ocean water

No! you should not use 100:1 in any Johnson or Evinrude engine

50:1 is near enough 1 pint in 6 gallons

That's 16 fluid ounces in 6 US gallons .

or more precisely 2.56 fluid ounces per US gallon

20mls per litre anywhere else in the world except the USA

100:1 is only half as much oil. It is not enough for your engine.

so the guy i got the boat from gave me 2 stroke oil name brand is
Red Line synthetic oil also says two stroke WaterCraft oil Biodegradable. also says oil may be run in ratios between 16:1 and 100:1. am i able to use this or get 50:1

You may use that oil...just mix it 50:1.
