"I have 2 1995 Yamaha 200hp Saltwater 2-strokes on my 30' Scarab Sport. One has a problem w/the engine oil tank not being refilled by the boat tank automatically. I have to pull the engine cover off and hold the emergency switch to fill the engine tank. I have swapped the float switches with other motor, ng. I have replaced the oli pump on the boat tank - it works fine. After all my troubleshooting I'm thinking that it's the tilt level sensor. But, I don't know where that is located or what it looks like? Is it a mercury switch? Any help appreciated."

"Yup, its the tilt level senso

"Yup, its the tilt level sensor/switch. I have had to replace it on my 250hp. It is a sealed black box about 4" x 2-1/2" x 1" thick w/ a set of leads coming out of it located near the oil reservoir on the powerhead. They are fairly easy to replace. You can benchtest yours by following a set of resistance checks on a matrix in the manual."
