Oil Sending Unit 283

Need to replace oil guage sending unit on 60ish 283. Existing one is A/C unit. Has no other part makings. Any idea on Part #? What can I use as replacement? Where can I get one? Would an auto store have this part? Thanks

Single or dual stations? The senders are not same between the two.
What is the impedance of the oil pressure gauge?

Once you identify it by appearance, invoke "web" at the top left side of your screen.
You will find quite a few Marine Suppliers for these.

Check to see what type instruments you have. Most of the older instrumentation makers are still in business in one form or another. They all seemed to use their own proprietary sending unit values.
Contacting a good dealer of your type marine**instrumentation should yield good results.
If you have no luck try some marinas that specialize in older wooden boats. They may have used parts available to fit your needs.
