Oil pressure sendergone again

I have 1999 four winns with 5.

I have 1999 four winns with 5.0 Gi volvo penta---when warm the oil pressure drops to red zone and "beeps"---same happened few yrs ago and oil sender replaced and solved problem for few yrs--now doing same- sender bad again? Stops "beeping" if up rpm to about 1000.
common problem? engine sounds fine and runs fine otherwise----thanks--
