Oil on spark plugsi

i have a merc 1974 merc 65 hp

i have a merc 1974 merc 65 hp 3 cyl. there is oil all over the plugs. it is the perma gap type. what would cause this? the compression readings are 147...146....150.

Could have been caused by cons

Could have been caused by constant slow speeds like long periods of trolling.Plugs will load up like that at prolonged slow speeds.When was the last tune up?

compression is like a new engi

compression is like a new engine ...check plugs for blue spark to comfirm good coles / stator...if all checks out you are good....just normal.
