I just bought and fixed up a 1962 johnson, im not sure what the oil mix is since i cant find it anywhere on the web, nor in my sealoc manuel. I've seen on here a 50:1 but the engine is pouring out a lot of smoke and when i adjust the mix knob to lean on the carb, not as much smoke but still alot. so i was just woundering if it would be to much oil? anyone have any clues? Thanks guys"

24:1 was the factory mix----That is why the motor is still around.24:1 the motor will last say 4 times as long as 50:1.
