Oil light coming on

I have a 90hp 2000 oceanpro I

I have a 90hp 2000 oceanpro I was running it at 2000 rpm working on a skip when the no oil light came on It ran for about 45 seconds before I got it turned off.Did I hurt the motor ? also what do I need to look for to trouble shoot the problem? I have not tryed to start to again.
 
I just got the boat 2 months a

I just got the boat 2 months ago and only put 10 hours on it.I started the boat this afternoon and and ran it for about 5 mins at idle no light came on. any ideas? Thanks.

no horns oil primer bulb was hard to pump.I guessing the motor is still on a oil system but I never notice if the oil reservoir went down only ran it for about 10 hrs.How can I check to see if the oil system has been disconnected? and would the light and horn still would of went off if it was and the motor was running off of a mix?thank-you for your help.Also how much oil should I be burning in say a hour?maybe 1/2" from oil tank?
