Oil Level in OMC outdrive

I recalll pumping oil into the lower unit from the bottomuntil it came out the hole at the top of the lower unit. First of all, Is that correct?

I am not sure on the upper unit oil level. How do I check it?"

"You should really fill it from the middle screw Paul to help avoid getting air trapped in the drive which will eventually work it's way up to the upper gearset.

All Right Bob!!!! I have enjoyed this site and even was able to give my input on one. I just rebuilt this 5.0 and I am looking forward to the lake in the near future. Thanks for all your help.
