Oil leak

had left motor (70hp 1980&

had left motor (70hp 1980) on full tilt for a few days and have noticed gear oil seeping from front hole at join of leg and gearbox section! not loads but enough for me to notice|! any ideas?
 
Probaly not gear oil but disol

Probaly not gear oil but disolved oil/carbon from the exhaust system. But lower the engine and check the gear oil anyway.

the oil looks very much like the gear oil that i put in only a couple of months ago. blue in colour!
do they have an over fill escapement or anything?

is that something that i can do at home or is it a workshop thing?
I am pretty compentent with the engine! special tools?

"you just need a pump,capable of putting a few lbs of pressure in it ,then look and listen around seals...if u see nothing...pressure test again,and submerge,looking for bubbles..."
