"I ran this boat last in the driveway, with muffs and running water back in october before any cold weather had set in. To put stabil in the system for the winter, about mid november the boat sprang an oil leak, the resivor is gettin lower and the oil is basic blue, no water in it or fule in it, it seemingly just started leaking without any pressure in the motor whatsoever, the motor has the resivor inside the head case mounted to the side of the motor. Are they known to have a hose break from being brittle? since there is no pressure or fule in the line, and even though it looks as if its comming from the head, do you suppose its just collecting at the plate below the head and then seeping downward? is there any gasket that goes to the hose fittings? can I just replace the hose from the tank to the oil injector? or can I even get to the fittings where the hose connects, surely since there has been no pressure and gravity is doing its thing its most likely collecting and then overflowing down the motor and on to the floor...right? any help or comments would be appreciated since here they want $85.00 and hour just to look at it. Thanks for any help you may be able to offer.....Jake!!"
