Just bought a bas tracker with a 40hp oil injection 2001, how do i know if the oil is mixing correct?

One home remedy is this.------Mark your oil tank level.------Mix gas and oil at 50:1 in your fuel tank.----Run 2 tanks of mixed gas through the motor.----And no the extra oil will not damage anything.-----Now see how much oil you need to add to your oil tank to get to your reference mark.----Or simply make an appointment at your friendly shop to get it checked out.
