Oil Injection removal

I have a Tracker Mariner 90 Hp

I have a Tracker Mariner 90 Hp 1994 model with the oil tank mounted on the side of the motor. How do i go about disconnecting the oil injection and start premixing 50/1. Thanks Brent

"Why? If there is a problem with it I would get it fixed, its a good system. Just stay away from cheap aftermarket oils. Also it works on a varible ratio, its only 50:1 on startup, as you accelerate it leans out."
 
I like to know it's gettin

I like to know it's getting oil rather than be fixing a power head thats blown. It works but has me on the edge every time i take it out because i don't fully trust them! One bad problem or clogging up and you will pay for it quick.

"Kevin, You have it backwards. Outboards need a 50::1 gas-oil ratio at full throttle. At idle they can run on a 100::1 ratio or even leaner.

Brent, On my '93 Merc, someone simply disconnected all the oil lines from the pump and removed the oil tanks (boat and motor) and electric sensor. They left the pump installed.
You should also plug the tank pressure fitting on the block."
