Oil injection questions

Did or Does Mercury ever have problems with their oil systems like Omc did? I've a 40 Mariner 4 cyl that I would hate to launch.

Ihave this question too, because some persons say ,the merc have frequent problems in the oil system injection at 2T engines .ons decir, los problemas han merc altura en el sistema de inyección de aceite en los motores de 2T.
I have a Mercury 40 2T (2008) and not have any problems .
Any member at this forum asq this question, what part (drive shaft or oil pump )frequently faill??? ???
The Mercury Optimax 115 have this problem frequently too ???
