I just bought a 1999 merc. 50 . I am wanting to do away with oil injection on this motor,I would rather mix the fuel and know it is in there, so far motor runs great and uses oil from built in tank like it should, but I am worried if it stops and the alarm does not work then I am in trouble.I have never heard the alarm so dont even know it works, any info on disconnecting would be helpful, some say you can bypass it,some say you cant. Thanks
